1986 Honda spree value
Hello folks,
New member here and first time posting.
I have had sprees when I was younger and am considering buying another to relive my youth. Lol
Anyways, I am considering purchasing a 1986 spree in perfect condition. It looks like it has been preserved from day 1.
All original, not missing any parts, low miles and low use. It doesn't appear this spree has even seen rain.
My question is, the price is 750.00. Is that fair?
Personally, I feel it is based on the condition. What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 1986 Honda spree value
Seems high to me, maybe $500-$600. Summer is here...time to inflate to prices!

I can't believe
that cop put me
in the backseat
when I clearly
called shotgun.

Re: 1986 Honda spree value
IMO
For a pristine (non restricted) Elite or Aero ... maybe $750...
For an '86 Spree (much slower) but a year with the kickstart... but no glove box... maybe, just maybe $400.
wow and you're even where riding time of year is hampered by weather ....
even though it's prime time, I see quite a few $4-500 sprees on national craigs that were posted for a week+ ...

Re: 1986 Honda spree value
This 1986 spree is pristine.
But wow, I didn't realize 750 was way to high.
Maybe I should reconsider the price the seller is asking.

Re: 1986 Honda spree value
I accidentally deleted the pics the seller sent me. It looked brand new though.Carnie wrote:Can you post pictures of it?
I am going to have a look at it in person tomorrow morning though and will take pictures.
Re: 1986 Honda spree value
IF you pay anything close to $600 for a spree ... read this info ...Lmb1 wrote:I accidentally deleted the pics the seller sent me. It looked brand new though.Carnie wrote:Can you post pictures of it?

http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Honda/Spree/Spree.html and perhaps info on other listed 50 cc scoots ...
and test drive it not only on a flat surface but make sure you take it up a hill ...
and read evil's replies again about the $600
GL either way ... might be pretty but it will still be a limited, single speed lil scoot ...
