Ive had my 86 spree (black and purple) for awhile now and i noticed that i get things thrown at me often. Usually its a punk teen hanging of of the car window as they pass me. Im curious to know if anyone else faces problems. And i would like to hear some stories

I had that happen to me once by a punk teen who just got his license. He threw a soft drink at me. I took off my helmet and hit his truck with it. Lol. Get a CCL, pack some firepower and drop anyone who messes with you claiming, "I thought he was violently attacking me and I was simply defending my existence." :D

I carry a large caliber handgun on my hip in plain sight. Even the morons get the hint.

Seems that soft drinks are the weapon of choice for punk teens. Lol

Yes... Happened to me as well; actually twice.

-I gave the "thrower" the benefit the 1st time, claiming "he was just littering."

Now the second guys who threw a bottle at me: -I followed him to the next red light, put my Aero on the centerstand in the lane next to the car when we were stopped, stepped over to the passenger door where his "homey" was sitting (homey acted like "hey, what's up man?") and kicked a football sized dent in his door. Before I got my foot back on the ground he ran the light. Haha!

Now if anyone is all-about their CCW license it's myself; i recently just renewed mine... but I'd have a hard time "pulling" on a thrower.

-if I'm going to "pull," then i'm also going to be ready for a return-firefight.
-And on my scooter? Heck no! -My scooter might get ping'ed! :?

(S&W Sigma 9 / Glock 23)

Sh1t; I know people that would "pull" on ALOT less than a "thrower!!"

It was before I invested in a new helmet and this one didn't have a chin strap. He was in the lane next to me and speed limit was only 25 mph. Though bear will warn me otherwise, I frequently ride one handed anyway. It elevates the "cool" factor. ;)

If you Open Carry in most states you need no CCW.

http://www.opencarry.org/

Carrying concealed does not deter anyone from assaulting you.

Yeah real cool, but it kills and maims way too many every year. But then you can't fix stupid, even with duct tape, but quit often the resulting crash does fix it.

We need a license for open or concealed.

Depends on your state and local laws. Here in Washington, no license required for Open Carry. That's why I posted the link to OCDO because they have the info for all the states. But most places except draconian states and cities that ignore the Constitution don't require a license to Open Carry.

Here in Illinois we have NO 2nd amendment rights. They hate GUNS!!...NO CARRY AT ALL! But yet have the highest kill rate in the country by gun crime. Guess them laws are working real good for the gang bangers.....Sorry had to vent!

Illinois qualifies as a draconian state along with New Jersey, Washington DC, New York. They are all listed on the OCDO web site.
