Hm-m-m, I had a guy tell me his had that kind of mileage and it turned out he was reading in the last digit (tenths) on the odometer. I bet it's really 2500 miles.

Yeah, it's possible. But remember, the 84-86s have the capability to push the odometer into the 10,000+ range.
