Hahaha!. I definitely agree, but the look has grown on me over the years. And now every time I see one on c-list I wanna buy it. Without a doubt an addiction

On a good day..

I guess this is considered "a meeting" so we do fall under the category of scooterholics.

Last year I was up to 12 I think at the worst point. I currently am storing 3 2000 Elite SR50's, 1 2000 Aprilia SR50, 1992 Elite S, and a 1997 Elite 80. Not too bad, there could be one or two more I am forgetting. They come and go like the weather, except for my elites they will stay. The Aprilia may have to find a new home sometime, it is much bigger than an elite. It does not feel like a scooter.

It is carb, non ditech. TOP performance BBK w/ Top performace Nardo Replica Pipe, I wanna say it has less that 100 miles total. I have it on this forum somewhere. If you search aprilia it will pop up.

I'm not sure what a scooter hoarder is, I see scooter overachievers in this thread

IDK what's best for your collection from stock to performance parts. You can come up with your own system, mostly it takes being consistent. Here's some observations, yet not hard guidance:

Local pull apart shop has aisles by company (Honda, Yamaha, etc). Next they categorize by size (200cc and under, etc) into plastic bins. Parts in the bins are tagged with model and year info.

If a person has a whole lot of parts and is actively trading parts, getting them onto a computer where they can be easily searched, location identified (box C4, Honda carb parts), and marked as sold/inactive or deleted vs active would be worthwhile, but painful for many including me.

Oh yeah, I forgot about my Jog (next zone) the purple and black one. I think it is a 1992 or 93, and right at this moment one of my henchmen is picking up 2 Yamaha Zumas for me. 700.00 for both is what I am paying. The 1990 is the light blue and white color (this is the one that allowed me to buy 2, because I told my wife she could have the blue one) the 1999 is Black on Black. Both are in good condition from what I can see. Blue has 1400 miles, black one has 3000 miles. I am looking forward to trying them out. As far as I know I think they might both have the vertical minarelli motor. I hope the 1999 has the horizontal though. It would make it easy to try parts because then I would have the aprilia SR50, the 1992 jog, and that 1999 Zuma with the same engine design, the Aprilia is water cooled of course but the carbs, exhaust, and drivetrain I think might be compatible. So I guess my scooter count is up to 9 now. Although I would have to check my shop to be sure. This is a horrible problem, although I love every minute of it. That '99 jog has front disc brakes which is sweet. Image

Mouse is right. Brand and then part, labeling every single part with year, model. Then, when you need a 50cc airbox, you have a selection of similar parts right there.
