Great run jamz... :thumbwink:
Thought you had it won until that guy passes... :surprise:
Looks like turn 1 was your downfall...kept dropping rpm's on entry.
turn 3-4 running the high line was WOT
That track condition looking better all the time.
I've wanted to go for 2 years, maybe next Spring.

Excellent! Hey Jamz how fast were you going? What was your engine setup on that scoot?

:hi: I'm actually the rider in that video. I'd guess 45-48mph was my speed. The bike is on 9:1 gears, and I was running at WOT around the whole track. I wish I had swapped for 8:4's...
The zuma had longer legs and a great line. It was a * of a race.

Oh, and Traffic Jamz came 3rd in that heat. :coolcruise:

:peace:
Well I'm glad everyone thinks I ran a good race .

But I'm embarassed to say, that that is not me or my spree in this video.

The spree belongs to Spreetard of this forum.

I finished behind him about a half a lap down.

Here is that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr37YiHq ... e=youtu.be

The zuma had the advantage of its bigger tires to cushion it from the horrendous track conditions, and the racer has had lots of practice on this particular track.

I'm not trying to make excuses for losing to a yamaha....but.....ok I am.

It really boiled down to who had the biggest pair, and a better line.

Nice gotta love another mini stroked 72cc race cylinder. Theres always a lot of nay say when it comes to mini stroked corsas or mhrs, but obviously they do quite well. Nice ride!

 MHR? That's a warmed-over Mallossi cast iron bore with over 4000 miles on it. It's been a very reliable build for me.

*edit* I did have to skirt the piston a fair bit to make it work. It is impossible to use the crank and bore kit together as they come.

S4Patrick Brought his aero 50 with corsa kit and a v8 pipe 8.4 gears and a zx trans that whooped the pants off the zuma the night before.

Hey Eft! The Spree has an af16e with a Ruima 44.4mm stuffer crank under a warmed-over Malossi cast-iron bore. CT chrome intake, 24mm oko carb w/UNI filter and a v8 pipe. The trans is a Keli variator on a stock "S" pulley and a mystery belt. The numbers are worn off, but I know it is wider than the stock one. 1.5k grabs, 1.5k center spring, 9:1 secondary gears. 3.50 kenda tire on a Taiwanese ZX clone rim.
