New member from the western suburbs of Chicago.

Just got my hands on this 1987 Elite 50 (SE50P). A freebie from an in-laws garage, it has been sitting for 23 years. Had gas and oil in it which I drained, put some air in the tires, loaded it in the truck and brought it home.
It's in really good shape, has just over 1,000 miles, but is very grimy and the fuel system is gunked up. Going to start cleaning and repairing as needed, should be a fun project and I plan to post pics of the progress.
This is a great forum, been reading here for a while and have already learned a lot.

Thanks.
Yep, got the manual and an improvised workspace (the garage is another work in progress....).
Ready to work on it and start a thread in the Scooter Builds forum.
