Oil Light Replacement

Post by sonny123 »

I would like to know how to replace the bulb in the oil level light. Does the lens screw out, pop out or what? Would like to know before I break something. I have tried to pry the lens off and unscrew it but no luck. Need some expert advice. Thanks Dennis

I have a 1985 and the lens pulls out. It has a shaft with no threads. Its longer than you would think.

The lens pulls out of the rubber grommet, but still is attached to the wires.you then can push the gromment out ├Áf the cover , then the lens wil fit throught the cover.
