Scooting with Whitey

Post by DirtyE »

Watch "Elite Fabrizi 81cc/ Taida 129cc" on YouTube
Elite Fabrizi 81cc/ Taida 129cc: http://youtu.be/dADEdSyY-Vo

We went for a cruise out to Lake Michigan today. Fun to get out and ride again after a hiatus of a couple years. I got to ride the 129cc mega stroker. Its a beast, but my 81cc hangs alright. This drag is NOT an accurate depiction of the performance of our scooters. He cant keep his front wheel down.

Nice those are a couple of quick bikes! Stroker vs non stroker some proof that more power isn't always a better thing. But really fun to zip around town like that though.

Whitey has some tuning to do that's all. I'm more than sure that his 129cc will spank my 81cc when its dialed in. He hasn't touched his tranny since going to 129 from 72cc.

Im happy with my 81cc though. It is very quick. I'm not sure how much better I can get it, but ive got different springs/rollers/jets to test with. A trail tech as well so I can see heat and revs. I went for a ride today. I can power wheelie at 15-20mph. Its nice to be cruising down the street and lift the wheel. I haven't been able to do that with my previous, more heavy builds.

Wow that's some awesome power for that fabrizi though. I'm more wanting to go your route than whitey's stroker. Does the lighter rollers help launch that quickly? I'm still new to tuning but that's sick to see a non stroker keep up. Good tuning there sir!

Lighter rollers can be good or bad. Its not as easy as saying lighter is better. It all depends on where your rpms are and where you want to be. Lighter rollers will raise your rpms. Eventually right past rpms where power is made

Your right. Lighter for Low end and heavier for high end. Sounds so healthy and strong! Is that wot all the way down that street? I'm guessing you have friendly neighbors, I make a whole bunch of noise when I'm home tuning my scooter, I also have neighbors that are friendly to my loud chopped fabrizi pipe. Lolz gotta understand it to tune it
