A friend of mine used to have an '04 that he changed the creating on to make it more street friendly. It was pretty bad * to tell you the truth. I was on an XR250L at the time and it wasn't even fair lol

Splitting the cases is really no big deal ive done lots.Ive been working on 2 stroke dirtbikes mostly this last year all the tools i have for the scooters work great on these slightly larger engines .G9 you definitly have the skills to sort this build in your own shop.I own a honda CRM250 which was sold in japan only as a road legal dirtbike it has a oil mixer and holds 2 stroke oil in the frame large capacity gas tank,electronic controlled power valve,it runs a balance shaft for a smoother ride and a wide range gearbox .Ive fitted a FMF pipe a mugen ecm ported to cr250 specs and rejetted the carb.
