Sounds the part, looks the biz.

But, without an expansion chamber isn't the turbo just blowing the extra charge straight out of the exhaust port?

I'd like to see it's dyno chart :urban:

Hey, at least he got it running. And who cares if he cuts up a glovebox?haha. Rare or not, these scoots arnt exactly priceless. I see lots of guys on here drastically modifying these scooters in the name of "performance". Are some mods ok and others not?

What about cutting off a factory muffler just to weld on a pipe? Or taking a 20+ year old scoot "offroading" in a loggers parking lot? There's an attitude on this forum that exclusional. Maybe that's why maddog isn't a nice guy anymore. I've found a few of his posts that are 10 years old and not negative at all, and a couple of you guys accused him of being a "kid w no scooter" a couple WEEKS ago. Maybe we should recognize that we don't make the rules on scooters?

I'm not talking about mods that work and mods that dont. And screw maddog I kno he's an * but I still feel an attitude that says certain things are cool and certain things arnt. I got into this hobby cuz I wanted a ruckus, but couldn't afford one, let alone the parts. My brother convinced me a 2t was the way to go, and I bought the first old variated honda scoot I could afford. I then soon realized the wisdom of that decision when I saved up some cash for mods and went on sss.com and ebay and went on a $500 spending spree that got me almost every mod I have currently, plus some other stuff like oil and 2t accessories (seafoam, rags, carb cleaner,etc) Then I lowered it and put some lights on it. No one here really talked bad but still would say some small things that make me feel like the odd man out. I don't care, it's just a forum, but some people do and I think it's not wise. In King fu, you must learn to be humble, for there's always a better fighter than you. In scooters, we should recognize that everyone here has some peice of knowledge that the other ones dont, and we are all the same in the eyes of a soccer mom in an suv trying to do 55 in a 35. I might not agree w someone's mods, but I'll still respect there game. We all choose to be on the laughable end of society by riding these things, we should protect each other not pick at each other's choices. Sorry for the thread jack and the cheesy king fu reference. Btw, I kno the idiots are annoying, but if the guy who made that scooter takes offense, you can be making another maddog w/o realising it.

I don't mod my bike for others to suck up on my nuts I mod it for me. as for the cutting up of the "rare" glove box things like that make me cringe a bit inside as I know how hard those are gonna be for some kid 10 years from now trying to get his scoot running and looking good. But I know the reality is it's not mine everyone should make their scoot theirs and it's just a scooter one that we on hs.net have a strange addiction to granted but a scooter all the same.

Exactly. I don't wanna waste rare parts, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. Btw, I'm happy I didn't get a ruck the older honda stuff is way more fun.
