So I just scored an Aero 80.

The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

So I just scored an Aero 80.

Post by 85Aero80Guy »

After a quick google search on the subject I found this board.
I had a Spree as a kid and my younger brother got an Aero 50... go figure.

This Aero 80 is the final year, 1985 (U.S.) with 2480 total miles. Besides some rust it's almost showroom condition.
I've got it running and doing 44mph.

Honda scooters don't play!

I'll post pics soon.

Greetings 80guy... :hi:
Welcome to the board. We seen a lot of Aero 80's here.
Sounds like you got a cream-puff...
Throw up some pix

I think the 85 is the best year for the aero 80. Drop a 90 main jet in that with a set of the boyesen dual stage reeds and it will be a whole new machine :-) even just the 90 main jet will be a huge improvement. It will cruise so much better in the top end.

I've got the scoot at my local repair shop and they can't seem to locate the reeds for it.
Any suggestions?

Yea,
I didn't realize there are virtually zero parts for this thing...

Outside of the wheels and rear luggage rack, it looks showroom new.
