Hi V. I hate to say it, but looks like the party's over.
the $27 cost for registration seems a little high for a moped that saves a lot of fuel? Our cost is $7 a year.

Hawaii still Calculating, finalizing the cost. They need to figure out how much revenue they can make.
A few years back our state required you to have a permit for fishing off the beach. like if they had stock the ocean with fish. Lol
next thing you know we will need a permit to walk on the beach.

Whoever is in charge of establishing the safety check guidelines better be a moped expert/historian. Lotsa 30-year old mopeds still on the streets.
