Piston damage

Came across this pic on an online auction for a 1997 Yamaha Vino for sale with piston damage(duh!)

Whats the verdict here? Piston circlip come loose?

Looks like it's still embedded in the piston crown. Maybe not!

To me it looks like the circlip came loose. I've seen this happen with a spree.

Yup totally the Vtec yo... that has got to be the cir clip. A circlip snapped groove probably means...
