Hi forum.
A short review on scooter Swap Shop polini pipe.
I installed the pipe on a spree with no panels.

The polini pipe is not your typical looking pipe. it's something different. a race pipe.

I have to say the engineers at Polini did their homework on performance.
I give it a A+ . This pipe puts out the POWER!
It has great take off, awesome mid-range, and just continues to rev up.
This pipe is a beast. But not as loud as you think.

my old pipe was taking me up to 65 mph.
the new scooter Swap Shop polini pipe is way faster. :nervous:
I Recommend it.
Here are a few photos. :peace:

I running a 24mm oko. But changing to polini soon.
You may have to change your jet for the new pipe ?

Once you feel the power you won't go back. :geekdance:

graphite9 wrote:looks good ped thanks for being patient! I have had a few crack, so make sure you get all the bushings on right, and they don't do well on hawaii rough roads. As always I warranty my parts the best I can. I've had nothing but crazy feedback on the performance. Once polini opens back up were going to move into another 72 polini pipe. The look is not for everyone, but I let polini do their work, and its a race pipe designed to never bottom out on the bike, or cause you to wreck in a corner.

thanks for the feedback :)

Awesome pipe dudes! It's loud but that's what it is! I went from 6 gram weights to 5.6's and it got even better. I need to go down to 5 gram like I use on the scorp and it should rock!!! I Love it!! :worship: This baby revs!!! Can't wait to get the malossi zx belt on it. I'm using the Bando 669 w/zx pulley and polini 95mm vari/Kymco zx drive face. If this had an inner rotor kit on it............

I'm gonna have to put disc brakes on her now.
The Polini pipe mounted up quite easily once I got familiar with the odd style of "over-the-top-of-the-motor" and super-size mounting bracket. I decided to "hard" mount it instead of using the rubber bushings that come with it so the slip-joint would not leak very much. It's on good and I foresee no trouble as long as I don't go down any dirt bike trails! I used the supplied donut gasket but didn't over-tighten it and so far it's good there as well. I did have to modify the seat box to clear the pipe as well as the rear fender tray, and some melting of the top of the fan shroud to give clearance. I am pleased with this pipe all around!!!

Hi bones.
I don't recommend hard mount. May cause damage to the pipe. you can use a little red or black silicone on the joint if leaking. Also use aluminum duct tape on fan shroud.

Bonesv.
I personally change my pipe. I change the position of the muffler to take the weight off the expansion chamber. I made a small extension bracket that goes off the motor mount. The muffler and expansion chamber it's connected to the rubber bushings. Plenty of movements if I hit a pothole. I think my pipe it's much quieter because the outlet is facing down to the floor. no change on its great performance!
I love this pipe. This thing screams! it just revs like crazy! :geekdance:
