harlequin spree??

Post by z50 chopper »

Just had an idea of starting with a bare frame and build a harlequin spree using different oem panels like red, black, white, blue and lollipop green. Curious what people think of this idea.

I was thinking of making it look as factory oem as I can, like how VW did Harlequin Golf Mk3.

$40 and it's yours! The two were sand blasted and repainted too! And those years are 85 and 87.

I posted the same question about a month ago and got no responses. It seemed like an obvious project to me based on how the body of a Spree bolts together.

Ya that is my thoughts too. The body panels are easily interchangeable.

Why not just buy the whole white panal set and prime and paint them then clear coat them fresh and nice if your waiting it to look stock.
