I can pick this up for $400 w/title...Garage has 2 scooters already(had 4) with random parts everywhere...at what point does one become a hoarder?

Im just not into buying bikes and parting them out. Too much work for me.

Buy it, keep it, flip it, do whatever with it - if you find a good deal take it, and a cherry red elite is a good deal at $400. They take up very little space if you hoard correctly

I maxxed out at 6, I think, though I had a 3 car garage.

Once you get to point of "parts everywhere" the advantage you have is being able to pick up trashed scoots for little money and fix them with parts you have handy... then sell for profit. I made a few thousand over a summer in AR just flipping Spree in between looking for work. I picked up one of these SE50s that look like it had been dropped from a truck, repeatedly, then run in sand dunes with no air filter for $50. Replaced motor with one on shelf, realized *that* motor was in worse shape than the original (needed bearings) and got original going. Replace fork, Fixed bodywork, sold for $450 to a college student at UA.

The SE50 is one of my favorite body style FWIW. The SA50 is more capable engine, but liked these better.

^^yup. Pick it up, it's a good investment. Keep it til next spring then flip it for a grand haha.

If you still ride them, it is not hoarding, its enjoying life.

Do what I do - tell your wife (and yourself) you can't afford a car collection, so you get these instead. If you line them up real nice and keep em clean you can be like Jay leno.

And I'm not trying to call him out, but you should see kevin710's collection. He's got quite a few.

Rusty gas tank, dead battery, couple scratches here and there....hasent been tabbed since 93'....all around a pretty clean one.....its all benji's fault!

s*** dude wish those deals showed up near me. Only the big elites and the honda helix ever pops up. I live on a highway and near a bunch of international roads and its too fast here for a 50cc, no one every brought them here.

That's why I had to jump on it...these deals don't come up much here either.
