Got the frame painted and finished the Gyro. Put a trunk on it, which does give a different look (? if I like it or not yet)
Bike is starting right up, but after running it a bit it acts like is it starving and will stall at idle. New fuel line (same size ID), new filter and cleaned the fuel valve/screen. Bystarter checks ok with the test from the manual, but if not a fuel valve issue, I am thinking it is still the bystarter
Thoughts?

Re: Got it Finished
The nature of my '85 is the same.
The bystarter works perfectly.
The engine will always die if left idling,
but then if you count to five and re-start, it fires instantly.
Runs great all the time as long as you are riding it and giving it plenty of throttle.
The dying periodically seems to get less with running,
but it always goes through the same process, over and over each use,.
Fuel delivery seems to be sufficient to maintain constant 30 mph
for fairly long intervals around town.
The dying after long idles, then recovering right away is mysterious to me as well, but
I get along with it. I find that it helps to block the intake vent of the airbox
with a finger or two until it starts if you experience long cranking.
If you have the OEM carb cover, this is not possible.
Having the proper foam element made of OEM spec foam is beneficial.
Oil responsibly.

Re: Got it Finished
Nice job.. Looks great! I kind of like the looks of the trunk on the back too.
