Aftermarket reeds for Spree / Elite

Post by noiseguy »

Hey all,

Does anyone make aftermarket carbon fiber replacements for the reed block on Spree / Elite? I've not seen any. Given the age of these bikes expect that the metal ones are probably wearing out in some cases and need replaced.

Thinking about tooling some up for sale. Feedback pls.

I'd really like to see you make some side cover (kickstarter side case) gaskets so I don't have to buy an entire kit just to get the one. :)

Which bike? I haven't seen a full Spree gasket kit in years.

I'd need a pattern. I think I have a Spree block in garage but need to get my manufacturing process sorted out first.

I have an extra SB50 reed cage and reeds if you need them, as long as I get it back. Be nice if someone could replicate the cage as well. That would open up many doors for the Spree/Elite.

I recently purchased a full gasket set from Treatland that included the side cover gasket. I also have an oem Honda SB50 side cover gasket if you need patterns.
