What ever happened to "Bear"?

What ever happened to user "Bear", the Don Rickles of scooters? I loved reading his replies. They were a perfect mix of technical help and insult. It says he hasn't logged in since 2014.

Nice summary of The Bear's schtick! I miss him here, but last time I looked he's still scooting and pops up on some other forums.

I loved reading his replies. That makes you a member of a very small group.
They were a perfect mix of technical help and insult. ...considering your vocation, I understand your assessment. Actually, mixing the harshness of his tongue with effective technical assistance could never be labeled as "perfect"...but I share your sense of absence of Bear in a small way.

i'm with motormike wholeheartedly. his constant flagrant egotism about all things as the 2stroke supremo were most annoying.
if he's gone, good riddance.

Maybe he still visits but doesn't log in. Like me. Sometimes the attitude here gets old, ya know?
