The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

A post about what the questions were about...

Post by herbiedriver2 »

This is a show and tell about some of the posts that I have made, and a thank you to all who helped!

Picked this literal bucket of parts up for $40 and was going to use it for parts, when I decided to see if I had enough to build a complete scooter. Well there was enough parts, and thanks to this board, Amazon and Ebay I know have 2 complete Sprees.

And there is one more 'secret' scooter in the works (wife doesn't know...) Found an 85 Spree in terrible shape, half an engine and not much else. The same day picked up a totaled Taotao 50cc chinesium scooter, hence the birth of a frankenscooter (more on that later).

Enjoy the progress:

I've always liked that blue color on these bikes.

I'm on a similar trail as you although I've only just got parts. Long road ahead for me! That blue combined with the low n slow creates a cool vibe.
I own a Honda Eve and a Honda Nifty Fifty.
The Eve has a wiring harness, coils, throttle control and a starter motor from a nifty, since relying on kickstart isn't fun.
