My 86' Iowa Edition Hawkeyes Spree took first place at the 40th annual Roddin on the River 2018 Micro-Mini Nationals car and bike show in the motorcycles division. A bit unexpected, but wow, sweet!! The people spoke, the people voted, who am I to argue?



They are doing a collage of it, and from what I understand, it will be one of the vehicles featured on next year's T-shirts.

Congrats, a big win!

Very big win. Never expected to see a scooter, much less a Spree, beat out Harley's in a bike competition. My son was ecstatic about it. Lots of hand flapping when they announced it. Lot's of sweet rides there today. Here are some photos I took of some of the other cars:

You put so much love, care, and attention into that thing; It's not really a surprise that your creation won. How'd your son take the news?

He's all smiles. Boasting to his sister that his bike is "THE CHAMPION". My daughter is mad now that she didn't enter her customized TaoTao. She says she wants to enter next year.. my son was like "YEAH, GOOD LUCK BEATING ME CHUMP".

Here is the collage the photographers did of the bike. Just got it yesterday, gonna find a nice frame for it.
