this thing is going to be run though the snow. my only problem is the air filter getting wet. but what ever i can deal with it.

buy an airbox man, the unifilter looks kool, thats it, you can derestric the sotck airbox and run perfectly through rain show and anything. if u gett even a little watter on it, it will die, it took 8 mins in the snow to make me walk mine home.

I'll probably take whatever I got this winter out in the snow, I have a lawn mower that does 40, but I kinda blew the engine, it's knocking hard core. I ran it too low on oil... woops

not worth it, i had one like that, it is crappy. trust me, iv tuned through everything. iv tried everything and the stock airbox, and the ddx airbox are the best. look at the real into it hawaiins, they all have air boxes.

no im talking about keeping my UNI pod (witch i know works great) and using a cover like that to keep the rain out.

PS: ok then, how much would it cost me to get a airbox+ filter?

you can get a ddx ( aftermarket race box) for 50. complete just go to forumshawaii.net and ask around.

1987 SE50 Elite S

Before: Max cruising speed of 35 mph

Performed tune-up with new plug, new wire/coil, new air filter. Decarboned the muffler. Installed new engine variator and kevlar belt.

After: Max cruising speed of 40 mph

Well here's my famous rather ghetto aero... :lol: The rest of the body panels are black with a crap paint job someone tried to do. I cannot get the side panels to fit for my life...
