1987 Honda Elite

Post by frank50e »

I have found an 87 Elite that has been stored in a guys house since new.He brings it out every spring takes it to the shop for service and putters around his neighborhood.1400 miles in 32 yrs.He wants 5 I am holding at 4.Good deal.Just sold a 94 and a 99 with AF16 motors built. Not Looking for blazing performance like them but can I squeeze another 10 mph out of this one?Parts pretty available?Recommendations and no don’t want to swap motors.I am 70 yrs old and just wanna keep up with traffic.AF05 motor

If its truly an 86’ then it must be an Elite 80/125/150. The 50cc models offered by Honda in 86’ was an Aero, Spree and Gyro. Please specify which motor youre asking about.
I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Good bike. I'd buy it. Even for $500
