You can usually find OEM mirrors on eBay or Amazon.

The main thing I personally have trouble with, is they are usually too small (short) for my personal taste to view anything out of, so what I did is buy a couple riser extenders: https://www.amazon.com//dp/B07KT3MX5M
Otherwise, anything goes really. Just make sure you buy ones with 8mm threads or if you find a 10mm set, you can get a 10mm to 8mm adapter to retro-fit them.

Upgrade is a broad term. Yes, 8mm thread or you need adapters. You get what you pay for with aftermarket parts. Google "scooter parts" and the world is yours.
