Honda 125 Elites in Santiago, Chile

I was in Santiago yesterday, and there were quite a few Honda 125 Elites running around. There aren't any Metropolitans or Ruckuses on the streets, and 50cc scooters in general are rare there. I went down to the Honda dealer to check out the 125 Elites. Here are some photos:
This is a pair of new ones:
I especially liked the red, white and blue one behind the black one:
Here is the dashboard of the red, white and blue one. I really liked the twin open-topped glove boxes.. one for cheeseburgers, one for dog biscuits:
Here is the price tag for a new one. If I am doing the math right, one million, two-hundred and ninety-nine Chilean Pesos is the equivalent of $1,953 US dollars using todays currency rate:
Hard to understand why Honda has no interest in importing these to the US market.. I'd buy two of them..
