Greetings:

More 2-smoke nollidge, here. It's nice to see some manufacturers haven't entirely given up on 2-stroke tech, albeit this is a race-only off-road model.

Greetings:

BTW, that 40.74 HP at the REAR WHEEL works out to a whopping 163 HP/Liter. Only the hottest of (Non-supercharged) Japanese liter-bikes approach this value. Gosh I love 2-strokes...

Current production 2t twin snowmobile engines in the performance class average 200HP/L at the crank when naturally aspirated.

Greetings:

My 1973 air-cooled Sachs-equipped Skiroule RTX 340 (339cc) made 34 HP - rated by manufacturer - at the crank. No surprise that 47 years later the output has doubled. RTX went 75 MPH in hyper-cold (negative 35 F.) conditions, two-up. Otherwise 60-65 MPH was typical. Musta been rich! Good memories.
