Honda Elite 50/80 or Kymco Cobra

I have an option to buy one of these.. Which one should I choose?
Which one is more mod friendly?
I would like to get at least 50+ mph

1989 Elite 50 3500 miles
2002 Kymco Cobra 1500 miles
2005 Elite. 80 1200 miles

Greetings:
Be careful with 1989. The small Elite "E" can be confused with the regular Elite and is nothing like it. The E engine is descended from the Spree design, and a strong runner will rarely exceed 35MPH in stock form. Mods are limited, too. The 1989 "Regular" Elite has the variated SE-05 engine, and can be modded to achieve your 50-mph goals but the parts to get there have become scarce. 40 is more likely in stock form.
The Elite 80 will meet or exceed 50 in stock form. Cobra was news to me, but Motor Scooter Guide indicated the 50 was good for 45 mph. The name was also given to a 100cc variant. Not sure go-slightly-faster parts are available or how easy they are to find.
