Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So I'm new to these 2 stroke Honda scooters so please forgive me if this is a dumb question. I recently picked up this SB50 Elite and got her running again. I am just wondering if its normal to have to let these idle for 5-6 minutes before being able to ride them? I'm guessing my bystarter just takes awhile to heat up.
