I found THIS fascinating. Oversimplified, and doesn't account for Idle and Enrichener circuits and needle positions, (let alone taper diameters and lengths...) but a beautiful Inside Look at a carb at work on an agrarian engine. Enjoy if you have a half-hour. Then try to imagine it happening one hundred times a SECOND on a 2-stroke at 6000 RPM.

Awesome camera, The video title says its taken at 28k frames/sec - 35 millionths of a sec/frame . That would be 1.26 degrees of crank angle per frame at the 6000 rpm for the 2T example you posted.

Edit: Correction to 'millionths' of a sec.

I thought itbs and carbies where the same thing but apprently carbies refers to carbs that are synced to each other. Itbs are just throttle bodies... I ordered some cbr 1000 throttle bodies for the miata.
