While some vacuums are designed for light cleaning, a few robust models are excellent at deep cleaning from low to high pile carpets. Best Overall: Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 Vacuum

This Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV360 can pick up pet hair and dirt on low and high-pile carpets with ease. This vacuum is easy to assemble and easier to use. With Lift-away technology, the Shark NV360 can convert from an upright vacuum into a smaller, portable canister vacuum, which is easier to carry around and clean above-flooring areas.

We love the seal system and HEPA filter, which traps all dust inside the machine and prevents any allergen from escaping back into the air. The filter is washable and easy to maintain. Overall, this is one of the best rated vacuum cleaners if your home has mainly carpets.

Greetings:

The crankcase is probably full of oil, not gasoline. The o-rings on the oil pump tend to leak as they age, and gravity + time can allow a significant amount of oil to gather in the crankcase's Nether Regions. The plug is probably fouled with it every time you crank it. I'm not sure what the best way to remove this oil is, perhaps start with a Siphon job on a turkey baster with a flexible line attached, down the oil pump hole would be my way to start.
