1986 Honda Spree NQ50

Post by Mwyoun »

Is the Fuel Line and and Vacuum Tube the same size from the Petcock off the gas tank? Looks like I might have a leak in the Vacuum Tube. Fighting Idle issue's. Can't find any info. on if its the same size as the Fuel Line.

I don't think they are the same,...not sure, but most of the other models have differing sizes on petcock.
This has nothing to do with a "poor idle" condition.
Most likely the pilot jet is clogged.

I did just install a new Carburetor. Should I still check the Pilot Jet. Appreciate the help.

If you installed a "new" carburetor that you bought from ebay, and it is a Chinese clone, there's your problem.
You should throw it in the trash, and clean the original carb properly.

Can you post a video with it running? Do you have the stock airbox with good oring and no holes drilled in it? Fuel and vacuum lines should be different inner diameter.
