1987 Spree, 6,500+ and going up by the day...

Bought it over 6 years ago with a little over 3,000 guy said it wouldn't run. Didn't get around to messing with it till about 2 years later. Turns out it had a cracked piston, replaced the engine and it's still going strong. Engine probably has a little over 5,000 on it now I'd imagine.

As you can see by my avatar, it looks like crap and has ever since I have had it, but that definately dosen't hurt the fun factor of scooting around. :)

Hey, the blue peeling paint and torn seat gives it character I say!
Comeing soon: Possibly the fastest Spree in the world...

I really gotta paint and sell my spree project and pay off some debts. I am in need of some cool paint color ideas. If you have any message me. I was gonna go with a metallic blue.

6641.6 miles and counting! I just put in a new piston and rings and bearings. Next is the main bearings.
I try to fix things with a hammer and wrench!

Mine has an indicated 7041 miles.

It was rebuilt at least once before me. Probably more than once, as I discovered a domed (higher compression) and oversized piston when i cracked it open.

It also looks like it's got 7000 miles on it.. :) Body panels missing, wiring is kinda messy...

I'm cleaning it up as I go.

if its a 1986-1987 it is supposed to have the domed piston for some reason.

5187 after some major work after I got it. Pulls 26s on the flat so not bad for a 49cc engine that is 20 years old.
