This may sound dumb, but what is the Arnada? I keep seeing references to to it on the Hawaii forums. The scooters seem to look a lot like the post '94 Elite S but with different plastics (the rear has a pointy bit).
Is this a Japanese model?
Is it one of the Elites that has the gas tank on the floor?
Are parts other than the engine interchangeable?
Thanks!
Clive.

I don't know about Maui, but here on Oahu, the popo's been confiscating Arnada's because of the VIN Plate issue. You may want to hold off on buying one till everything is worked out.frickinflip wrote:^^ that's correct Taiwan made clone of dio's. i don't like how the speedo looks but everything else i like. if i could get one and put a s motor or O.G dio motor.
The Arnada Dio is a SYM Dio (AF18) moped that is sold in Hawaii (on Oahu) that was brought in originally by VT Cycles then by Scooter Alley. It is a reconditioned moped that will normally have a used engine with some new components on it, new body paneling and usually new tires and rebuild front suspension. It looks like a '88-'90 Honda Dio (AF18) and has a engine similar to it (about 98% the same). Almost al lthe parts that come out of Taiwan were originally made for this type of moped and not for the Honda mopeds we tend to use them on.
VTCycles.com for performance parts.
