use the correct size bolt.if not your going to have engine vibration and wear out the motor mount and engine bushing eyelet from the bolt being just a little to small.

Size Matters, But Hardness Matters More
Greetings:
Size Matters, But Hardness Matters More.
Let me rephrase...
Getting the correct Size bolt is only half the solution. Bolts are made of several different grades of steel, each with its own particular characteristics. Softer steel is weaker but more resistant to cracking and breakage. Harder grades of steel is stronger but more brittle and sensitive to point-loading, say in the gap between the bracket and engine case.
Just because it fits doesn't mean it's right or safe in your application. Think about what that bolt does. Going around a corner at 40MPH is not a good time for a cheap substitute bolt to reveal its inadequacy. Get the Honda part.

honda uses class 8 bolts i believe. The bolt can be recognized by the 5 dashes on the head when you buy them. The length of that bolt in MM is not easy to find and you will be extremely lucky to find it in a local hardware store. It is more than likely a special order from a nut and bolt shop. Expect to pay alot.
