This is not a problem on my 'lite E, although it may be on my wife's SA when I get the Polini Big Bore Kit on it. It is certainly a potential problem with my Helix.

Greetings:

Brad the Cubed points out:

Wheelman's aunt Lefty died of a Infraction. Going 60 in a 45 zone with 95mm drum brakes = generally a bad idea. Particularly with the Constabulary nearby. :( Plus leaving faceprints on a Corolla door can hurt. YMMV.

Sorry for your loss. Happy you got approximated at 60. Hard to refute that one. You've proven to be over half as fast as our Hawaiian brothers say they are... :)

Top Five Things Not to Say to the Officer:

5: "Did your daughter get that abortion I suggested?"
4: "I pay your salary you effin' flatfoot."
3: "Mr. Washington under my license says I wasn't speeding".
2: "I was late to my Al Quaeda meeting".
1: "Sorry I was too drunk to read my speedometer".

Rule Number 1 - Know the Law. Ignorance is no excuse.
Rule Number 2 - Obey the Law. Refer to Rule Number 1

At least you had insurance, or there would have been another infraction.

Under KaliFurnia Rule, anything that doesn't resemble two large spoked wheels driven by a deck of cards and clothespins on the wheel - is considered a 'MotrSickle.'

Breaks down like dis:

1. Motorized BIcycles (as described loosely above; requiring D/L only

2. Motor Bikes (49 - 150cc) Djep! Dis mean youse Aero/Spree-Elitists, but if'n yer scoot's got PEDALS on it, refer to #1)

3. Actual MotrSickle (150cc and above - 'freeway legal')

Numbers #2 and #3 require the same M1 Idetia, earned 'n purchased from yer good buds @ Le Dee Em Vee.

Not necessarily. Here are some mitigating defense suggestions - ASSuming you don't have a traffic rap sheet longer than Pinocchio's nose:

1. "Uh, Yer Honor, I REALLY thought I was doing 45, but my (insert bike model here)'s speedo hasn't been working right.

2. 'Guilty Yer Honor; I'm truly sorry. I try very hard to drive safely, but the guy in the '65 DeVille was tailgating me. {Depending on the look/demeanor of the Judge, feel free to substitute: Volvo Wagon, Escalade, Grand Cherokee, etc etc.}

Motorized Bicycles now require an M2, since 2006.
The only motorized thingymabob that doesn't require anything other than a Class C is a Goped.
YIKES. No wonder they spell Kalifornia with a K.
