abandoned elite? how do i get it?

this is hard to believe but parked in a commercial parking lot lot near my house i've noticed an elite (year??) just sitting there. i'm just about positive that it's abandoned because it never moves and it seems to be just rotting away.... it has been there all summer untouched as far as i can tell...day and night.

anyone know the rules on finders-keeps with this? i'd love to get my hands on it to rebuild but not sure who to talk to about claiming an abandoned vehicle. any ideas? maybe call the town hall?

just throw in in the back of ur car and cut the vin tag off.lol.

u could call the dmv/police department. find out who it belongs to and get the paperwork from them. this is risky if it is stolen tho. they will take it from u.

What state are you in?

In many places you can turn in stolen/abandoned property to the police, and claim it after one year if it isn't picked up by the owner (otherwise it gets auctioned.) Call first and get the groundwork figured out.
