So I got the good old Elite S going today! It runs perfect and pulls hard. Top speed unknown, speedometer is dead but odometer is working, wierd huh? Anyhow I tore down for a derestrict, and I remember ripping the other 94 motor down I stuck on my 87. It had a 14mm crank nut, this d*** thing was 17 millimeters and the OD of the crankshaft end was HUGE.
It was doing what "felt" like 30, now derestricted feels a bit snappier, don't over-rev like before, and noticeable gain in speed.
I do need some rollers though, these have flat spots but they aren't bad. They aren't affecting the performance of the bike.
