I agree. Additional invest could be kept to $300 max and still have a decent spree trike or reverse trike build.Bear45-70 wrote:Yeah, but that is a very special application and that put the price thru the roof.eliteguy50 wrote:Here is a reverse trike thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16379

That joystick and computer controllers adds a lot to the price. The bike itself was probably under 2k. The builder is a member here, he could probably give a rough break down of the cost.jwb1972 wrote:$$$$8000$$$$!!!!!!! Ouch! ~ I wish I had 8K I could pay off a few bills with that!!!! LOL

Re: A Spree Trike?????
On a homebrew 'go-kart' type project here's a photo I grabbed a few years back. It's a tadpole rather than your 2 rear wheels powered idea. Looks fun, but pretty low for riding in traffic.
We've had a couple three wheel threads here. Do some searching - if you don't find them post back and we'll do some searching.
--
P.S. - Another 'tadpole' A couple more links on the Zoe:
Goofy Movie clip - Ninjas vs Zoe
These are rare - auction - sold for apparently $5500
Total Ruckus guys cover oddballs too

Re: A Spree Trike?????
Followed the links on the Zoe.......led me to be confused.....is it 50cc,....80cc??.......If the specs are right listing top speed at 45mph, you'd think 80cc, 2t from the Aero......whatever, it's cool..... these next 2 pix show that it's not that difficult
