you'll probably want the BPR8HSA instead of the BPR6HSA. will run a little cooler at wot.

any way you can fix the exhaust baffles you drilled out????? would take a lot of the guess work out of rejetting. Actually might make it impossible, someone correct me if i'm wrong please.

i actually just found out that i have a broken piston ring. i didnt just break it but when i was putting the block back on, part of it fell off. guess thats why it was a lot easier to put the block over the top ring. it was broken. this has to be the project from * because now i have to check near the crankshaft to see if it fell down there -_-

still not sure whether it's a restricted or non restricted model. If it is a restricted model and you have unrestricted everything than you also need to tie the oil pump open and use a 70:1 premix in the tank. if it was an unrestricted model than please disregard the above.

heres what i know: i think it might be the restricted model because when i bought it, someone had already ground out the washer in the exhaust which was there before. i derestricted the variator by removing the plate from the back of the ramp. i dont see an extra hole in the airbox like it was mentioned in another thread that the unrestricted had an extra hole in the airbox. heres some other info. its a 2000 Honda Elite S and the sticker in the underseat bucket says sa50py. im thinking the py means the purple and yellow color scheme that came stock... correct me if im wrong guys

does the oil pump have a cable hooked to it? the unrestricted didn't. since there was a plate behind the variator it was probably the restricted model. don't forget to tie open the oil pump

it doesnt have the cable on the oil pump but i did have to take the restrictor off the back of the ramp plate..... d*** this is a tough one to determine

no cable on oil pump means it was the restricted model. should be able to tell on the serial tag on the underneath part of the frame. right before the year it will say sa50p if it's restricted.

Greetings:

I got these from an eBay seller. He printed them on some super-sticky stock to ensure adherence to Polyethylene side skirts. A year or more and still stuck on there...

Main jet. If i remember correctly you need #78.

I'd get a split throttle cable and SR oil pump or zip-tie open and mix 70:1 in the tank.

if i get the cable and pump then do i have to premix? and will an 85 jet work?

Greetings:

If you've unrestricted the variator and opened up the S pipe, the SR pump and split cable basically complete your conversion to SR specs. If that's the case, there's no need to pre-mix any additional fuel. If you wire up the S pump to run the split cable, then a bit more oil would be good insurance, However, I would recommend something closer to 100:1 in the tank.

An 85 jet will likely be a tad rich with the airbox, but might work fine with an UNI or K&N Pod filter.

just got it almost perfected today. i have a brand new belt, roller weights offset 6.5 and 10 g, a breather filter, derestricted exhaust and vari, and im running the rear crankcase off so the clutch runs cooler. i have no fkn idea where my jets are, hopefully be here tomorrow and im probably gonna jet it at 85 or 90
