Menage a trois story and pics

Post by Vista glass »

Sounds delightful. Here are some pics taken this weekend when the three way took place. The participants are a sleek little number dressed in black, a spicy Italian model with a really big round pair, and the third is special, cute as the girl the next door with features not usually shown in public. It was smoky and hot once things got started. Each has their preference and special abilities. Can you imagine this trio in action...............? Of course I'm talking about scooters! What were you thinking? I got the fleet out and gave them what they wanted and needed. I charged up their batteries, they love the juice! They all got their tanks full of high octane fluid. Fresh filters all around. I pushed their buttons and they responded, except for the special one. That one needed even more to start purring and joining in the action. I threw the covers off and got up inside. At first there was resistance, but with some lubrication and carefully applied force things went my way. I had to undo what a lack of love and respect had done to the girl next door. Some cad had stripped the carb mounting holes and left things hanging. With care and the right touch I inserted some threads so I could mount the critical part firmly and correctly. I installed a new throttle cable and slowly soaked and cleaned every orifice of the evidence of neglect. My reward was that now that part of the trio could pull a vacuum. Oh sweet joy when I kicked things up and the sparks ignited. It wasn't without effort but soon the special joined the others with gusto. I promised pics. Here they are the menage a trois

Thanks to everyone who has posted carb rebuild info. I have used the search function here over and over. I was just about to ask for real time advice when I found even more info. I found vendors for parts I needed and got these units running. I went through the special and it runs. Now it stumbles coming down off a WOT run so I think I will change the needle position on the throttle to see if that can fix it. It is rewarding to do scooter CPR and see the patient revive. The factory baskets are not everywhere so the special is just that. I used rustoleum white rubber sealant paint on the baskets its almost like plasti dip. The rustoleum ran enough to fill the crevices of the old cracked coating. I Fabricated a kickstand for the special since a girl will be using it. So far the installed adjustable bicycle kickstand is working well. It was $6.00 and spare metal .I can take and send photos of the mod should anyone want some.

More photos to be attached later today.
