Another small update, now with gauges for revs and cht. It was tricky to to make it to look sort of oem. Now bracket for choke and I can try the first test drive

Thank you

I have done the bracket for choke. And than I wanted to try first test drive, but... It starts fine but It wont rev and also it seems that it doesnt care about choke. If its on or off.

There is jetting from Polini manual for BBK. I guess I ll have to try to do some jettings. And also stock starter motor doesn have enoug power to turn with the engine. Ill have spare motor so Ill try another starter motor. And on the ebay there are also some starter motor from twh for 120cc dios. Maybe that d be a way.

i have put there chinese cdi with led indicator on it. and interesting thing is that spark is still too early but led on cdi unit is spot on.
I have also tried lead cdi, dio cdi and that chinese one and all of them are the same.
I have also tried lead coil and dio coil and chinese coil and still the same

Big spline flywheel vs small spline... no difference
inpart pickup vs oem pickup... no difference

well but maybe it should be like that. In service manual there is written that F mark is for 1800rpm

But its very hard to start. On starter motor when it wants to fire than it stops the starter motor like it wants to start to run backwards.

And its possible to kick it but its almost like it wants to kick back. It destroyed the gears.

I dont have a clue what to try now.

Ok... i have adjust flywheel without key just by eyes and it starts immediately. Its time to buy timing gun and to find what to put there.

Here is the first test drive. There is phbg 19mm (38/82/w16) - wot temps after a 1min are 160-165C, max speed is around 80 km/h, cvt weights are 3x5,5g and 3x8g and revs during acceleration are 8800rpm.

I have made this timing wheel, but now I have realized that I ll have to set ignition by stroke.

Dont you know if there is any chart for af18? Or ignition settings for af18?
Something like this chart for puch

I have another update.

Ihave done ignition timing with a gun (17btdc), than i put there "performance" coil with 3d printed bracket and carburetor boot from tpu on 3d printer.

Than i have done some tuning with cht gauge. Temps are stable although i dont really know how to set pilot and needle. It seem pretty fine how it is 38 pilot, 2nd groove from bottom and 90 main. But I can do WOT for a while and there is 150C but... i have this same issue:

And also fuel consuption is HUGE! It is like 10l/100km! Is it normal?
