Beautiful build, i just got an arrow as well, best looking pipes in my opinion. But what happened to the custom one you were building?

That pipe is done and works great it's just not as cleanly made as the arrow. I needed a pipe to complement the rest of the bike.

I have intentions of inlaying a trail tech vapor in the stock speedo. That's for next weekend the wife has had enough of me in the garage.

Greetings:

Beautiful job! Are you still rocking the Polini variator with SEF plate? I've never been able to fit anything but a Polini ramp plate on the Polini variators. Those little guides don't seem to fit well and uh... glide, very well. Polini makes ramp plates with different angles, but they all require those three blue plastic guides.

I'm still using that combo but a custom length boss. I get 100% travel on the variator. Using the marker test there is nothing left. I can measure it if you wanted. I think it's a good combo.

Good to know. Are you using the black SEF guides then?

I honestly don't remember I'm pretty sure I have the blue Polini in there. I might of had to file them. I need to lighten my weights anyway when I'm in there I'll get you some pics.

It looked like the custom pipe would hit the plastics or tail lights with weight on the bike, from the pics, but amazing fab work, wish i had the right welder, or even the talent to build a pipe like that! The arrow sounds alot like my yz 80, loud and proud, it gets alot of attention, lol.

Here is that pipe finished up it fit really well. That original pic is before it was completely done. Actually that pipe had more torque then this arrow. Comparison videos

https://youtu.be/g5Yb1hZvVdY Homemade pipe around 25mph it hits great

https://youtu.be/84Hl2GLshsc Quick vid of arrow, seems to have a straight power curve not really a hit.

I'm sure once tuned it will be better. Still looks better then what I made. But I think the specs are a bit off to be perfect.

Ive got the same set up, on a new build, corsa, stage 6, and arrow. Was thinking about running 9:1 gears also. Does urs still do wheelies with those gears? If so what roller weight and center contra are u running?

I got the paint at colorrite.com.

The front end still goes up easily. I'm running lightened 6.3g they are around 5.8g now I need to lighten them up a bit still.

About the Polini/ sef combo I'm using the black guides. They look like some from a Minarelli scoot. The drive boss is 31mm but I'm using a Minarelli rear pulley and a malossi dio belt.
