Sheesh, you guys sure can rub salt in the bleeding man's wounds. :P
I have no regrets about the Iron Malossi. Reading about stuff isn't the same as building and riding it. If I only needed Flash to negotiate Deepinnaharta surface streets, it would stay as it is. Gobs of low-end and quick to 50. Only my wish to merge with Freeway traffic makes it inadequate.

I'll still keep tuning the M'Arn as time permits, but I've been limited on that because of work lately. Once I'm satisfied that it's All That It Can Be, I'll be looking to go back to Full-On Race Spec Probably go with the MHR and hopefully with a used Exotic (Hint-Hint?) pipe or another PG Short if the V8 really isn't up to the task. Look for Flash 6 coming to a Forum near you.

Very glad that your Corsa is still alive. Flash 5 is working great, with limitations previously mentioned. Once I get something just where I want it, you know what's coming... Flash 6.

Summing up:
The Malossi Iron has run hiccup-free from Installation to date. Matched case Boost and extensively ported exhaust to 28mm, over Malossi stuffer crank and 173psi compression, it made Great power to run an easy 55 with part throttle, even uphill or upwind. Highest temp seen was spot-on 350, and best power was 8500. It wants to wheelie even my 7.5:1 gears and acceleration is just a twist o'the wrist from any speed with the 28mm V8 pipe. Quiet, too.

To gain these attributes, it has to sacrifice something. That Something is breathing much over 9000 RPM. As such, top speed signs off right at 60, although it gets there remarkably quickly. This means not enough for Deepinnaharta Freeway most days.

So redeftperformance once again is summoned for something with higher RPM capability, the revered
MHR, along with the respected Simioni chamber pipe. Flash 6 follows soon.

Greetings:

RedEftPerformance made me a deal on a used one. He's more affordable than Treats.
I didn't figure on the turn signal contact issue. Can't try to resolve and performance test until 3/18/13.
