Greetings:

Thanks for giving me my props for the Band-Aid "solution". Be advised that Taiwanese Band-Aids are reportedly "rubbish". Go with Hello Kitty all the way. :geekdance:

Since I could not find a hello kitty band aid, I decided to replace the piston.

I got a different piston this time around.
The original was a rik piston.
The new one is not

I put the new 50mm piston in on monday......it did not fit.

The piston skirts are about 1/4 inch too long!

Time to get out the magic stick!

Greetings:

May I suggest you go a whole lot bigger on the Pilot? (58-60) The Lean-Is-Mean Main at 150 sounds small, too, but if you're just going 1/4 mile it should foster best performance. However when you close the throttle at the traps, that 50 may not keep the now red-hot cylinder cool enough.

Why do this?

bump that pilot to a 55 or 58 at lease.with the 9.8to1 gears run the 90/90 tire. for your drag setup up the compression and run race gas c12. your 60ft times will get way better.
Nothing like getting stroked!
