Re: 50mm Big Bore Elite S Build
What jetting would you suggest for a 43.4mm ministroker with a 50mm bore and a 28mm carb?bakaracer wrote:for the jetting, 52 pilot 135 main needle 1 clip up from middle and air fuel screw 1 3/4 turns out as your starting point.Trafficjamz wrote:
Any Suggestions on where to start with this setup
50mm bore ministroked with 30mm oko carb.
What jet should I start with. I have no clue on carb settings in this type of carb.

Re: 50mm Big Bore Elite S Build
Greetings:
I suggest you reduce your pilot or your main jet, but not both at once. Contrary to popular belief, a bigger pilot continues to add its contribution to the mixture, even at WOT. A 54 Pilot might be enough, but a 138 Main in a 30mm carb sounds scary-small to me. YMMV.

So, I have a 130 main in my 26mm carb on my purple elite. (50mm BBK, V8 pipe, ct mani). With my wife and i on it i hit 397 degrees going up a hill, do you think upping my pilot jet would be enough to keep it cool?Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:

No, upping the main would but at WOT the pilot does not supply enough fuel to make any difference.deuce217 wrote:So, I have a 130 main in my 26mm carb on my purple elite.
