Motormike put me on blast for my front fender having a hole, so I guess I gotta find one haha. For now I'm thinking of putting a malossi sticker on it to cover it up. If anybody has a clean aero 50 fender, pm me.

I might try that, but I used to work w fiberglass and abs and bondo n stuff when I was younger. I did custom car stereo, and I've developed skin issues cuz of all the chemicals and dust. So, I try to avoid alot.

Just wear some gloves  Hey, the motor looks great brother. Nice job! You cleaned up that side cover so well I want to say. Happy Trails!

My hands arnt really the prob, it's little areas where the dust goes, like my nose n lungs, and all my skin. I can still work w it, I just hate it. Thanks bones, took ALOT of work cleaning this thing. Rubber/gas/oil/dirt is a very strong medium haha. The polished cvt cover was fairly easy, just grab some airplane stripper from oreillys and wash off all the gunk, and you'll be left w a semi polished surface from the factory.

I did a little polishing on the carb, not done yet but I think it'll come out sweet. Fyi, any paint on a carb will come off w gas or carb cleaner, very frustrating. My "black edition" stage 6 needed to have all the black paint brushed off after cleaning it, looked like I dumped it paint stripper. I don't know, but I assume any similar "black" oko or "red" dellorto or mikuni will do the same.

Powder coated carbs wont but those cost a pretty penny

Yes, those would be the exception. Not sure if other carbs are powder coated or not.
Although, coating a carb seems counter productive to me. Any coating that you put on (paint, powdercoat, etc) you gotta make sure doesn't go inside the carb n block orifices n passagways. Or clean out after you paint/coat it. I would think a light Polish on a carb made of corrosion resistant aluminum alloy would work best and quickest if your a carb maker. But I guess I don't make n sell carbs, somebody at some big company somewhere probably gets paid lots of many to decide whether to paint/coat a carb. But I'm surprised I don't see polished carbs for sale new. I can get CHROME, but not polished. That seems so weird to me haha.

Hmmm. I have an old 26mm OKO that is still all original black and it's been thru the gas believe me. No loss of black paint whatsoever??? Amazing, it's 5 yrs old.

Polished and crome suck up heat it would be best to paint a carb white to reduce heat draw

Good point. I've seen crinkle finish carbs before, maybe that's why. Acts like little cooling fins.

Now that you say that I might not Polish my carb to much more haha.
