I am trying to find gears for my friends 1996 yamaha jog. Where did you find parts for the yamaha? I can not find gears any where.

What gears do you have, and what is your top speed, and @ what rpm?

:thumbwink: Thanx in advance.

There are a couple of places that have gears and I believe the horizontal and vertical motors share the same ones.
sp-motostore.com
enviromoto.com
drowsports.com
scootercraft.com
sipscootershop.com

I'm running stock gears on mine, and I dont have a speedo gauge so I can say for sure. I do have an RPM gauge, and the highest I saw it go was around 13,800 RPM. Im also running a 12" rim/tire in the back so I'm guessing I was around 60mph? Not too sure about that one

Sweet looking!

I'm glad you kept the Ruckus headlight assembly, it's what makes a Ruck a Ruck, IMHO.

I love the headlights, like you said its what made want the ruck in the first place. If I can find them, Id like the JDM counterpart which is smaller. Id also like to lower the bracket that holds them as well.

For now ill just enjoy the ride, but Im sure in the near future Ill get the itch again
