Thanks for the compliments again, sanj-

to tell ya the truth, I am not sure about just "how" the con rod is longer, and the stroke is the same... bakaracer explained it to me a while back though.

The full counter weight crank definitely seems to rev smoother and faster... I can tell a big difference between the first Ruima crank and the SEF.

The aluminum drive face has a much more dramatic angle than the standard ZX driveface; which probably translates to more torque. I have a "torque driver" as well on my rear pulley, and I did all the mods at once so I cant really say how the KRS aluminum driveface performs.... It is MUCH lighter than the stock ZX steel driveface, so it definitely aids in faster revs.

** much thanks for your compliments, Tru72- ...they mean alot coming from you! ALL of your builds are super-primo. you are meticulous like me! **

The rear "winged" clutch bell is an old school one from Malossi. I got it in 2001.

Here is my transmission setup: (ZX trans)

Malossi Torque Driver
Stage 6 (Koso) "Torque Control" Clutch
KRS (koso) 1500 Spring
Malossi "Spring Saver"
Malossi "Winged" Clutch Bell
Bando Belt
Daytona Variator
Daytona 7 & 8 gram Weights (alternating)
ZX Boss
KRS (Koso) Drive Face
Ruima Rear Trans Gears
Honda Metropolitan Wheels (tubeless)
SAVA Slick 90-90-10 Tires

It's a relly good setup for my engine. I love the Stage 6 clutch; it's easily and infinitely adjustable.

Later guys, thanks again for the compliments, Tru- :coolcruise:

oh, and i did get about 95% of my parts thru Patrick a.k.a "Daywot."

-He has been a buddy of mines for about 10 years. Not many people know, but Patrick can get ANYTHING you need; NOT just what he list on Ebay. He just list the most common / best selling parts on Ebay. -Just send him an email on what you are looking for, and he can get it for you. Be patient on getting a response... he is super busy, but he will get back to you.

As well, "Trav" on the Hawaii forums is a great guy who can get ANYTHING as well, especially the rare / old stuff.

-On this forum, PM member elite_dub. -Jay is also one of the guys that will find what you need, and ship to your door. Super-friendly guy, too!

Greetings, Jon:

Forgive me for not posting up sooner, but I admire your approach and outcome.

What gears are you running? I assume the slicks are intended for the track, not the street? (sure wouldn't pass annual safety inspection in Tejas...) Is 45 grams not a lot for the high-revving Corsa? Particularly since you have that long con-rod, I would think the Corsa would be happiest above 10K.

Most importantly, any more pics of leggy babes stepping on your throat?

Kidding, Dawg! Nice job!!

That sidestand looks great, as does the angle when on the stand. Yet I can't avoid staring above her ankles :) :) Built for fun, yet dressed for a night on the town in style, one exceptional scooter. :thumbwink:
