Japan Yamaha Jog 2000

Post by veedubh20 »

ImageImage ImageMalossi primary gear Straight cut 17/40

Im build a project jog w/ vino motor. :D
pictures/ more work on progress..
I found a vino motor has low miles, just add polini corsa bore w/ stock crank.

Still waiting more parts from japan.

Japan parts, Daytona chamber pipe, bmf reed cage kit, more air volume than jog reed cage.

it a 2 stroke moto and very similar to yamaha jog 92-01 and 02 zuma - up , not 4 stroke 50cc-125cc.

vino has bigger intake volume 46mm by 42mm and angle reed valve cage.

New vino intake boot 5BM , gaskets, and Bmoon reed cage has better airflow that stock vino reedcage and yamaha jog reed cage.

Daytona chamber pipe still on their way.

can you mod a vino 50 (original) like this or is it just because you have that motor mounted in the jog frame? Cool build either way.

the jog reed cage only, the boyesen reed valve part# 747.
vino crankshaft has a yamaha jog 3kj stamp.
The vino block, Jog mag flywheel/ stator does fits on vino block, jog wiring stator has a small rubber gormet. Must run jog 2 pieces cooling fan cover and jog cooling fan on 2ja mag flywheel. Vino motor does fit on jog frame. :D

Vino mag flywheel and stator has different wiring and plug from jog. vino cooling fan and fan cover shroud is bigger.

I decide to go jog mag/stator on vino motor. Just want to make simple ready to plug wirings.

vino motor is in a jog frame, bolt on! Just got running and idle about a minute. :D

Still on their way. Blk dellorto carb 21mm and some bigger main jets.

Here is the Daytona pipe from Japan.

This pipe, has no dents , speed bump rash or deep rustpits. Just need some sanding and bbq spray paint.

i've acquired an engine from a 2003 Vino. it says A126E on the case.
is this the good Minarelli engine ? i'd like do stick it in a frame of some sort.
the mount point sure is wide though...
i have a 88 Jog as well as a 86 but....
busting my knuckles on vices since
for long as i can remember
