I added a head gasket and now comp is 140 psi.

Lack of local place to get combined with price of race fuel made me do it

Any Suggestions on where to start with this setup

50mm bore ministroked with 30mm oko carb.

What jet should I start with. I have no clue on carb settings in this type of carb.

for the jetting, 52 pilot 135 main needle 1 clip up from middle and air fuel screw 1 3/4 turns out as your starting point.

call any of the performance car shops and ask them where to buy race gas from.if there is a drag strip near you then there should be alot of places within a 50mile radius that sells race gas.call the go-kart shops too.those guys use race gas in there karts.

I looked at the jets in my OKO carb today

39 pilot
139 Main jet

I don't have any different pilot jets right now.

The scooter started right up with these jets in it. It seems to run pretty good.

I will post more results after I actually ride it. I still wanna do a few more heat cycles.

You are so smart. Yes...yes I do have to run it with the choke pulled. Is this because of my too small pilot jet?

yup! I wouldn't run it like that.just in case that choke plunger goes back down from riding or hitting a bump.if you keep riding it like that without getting the ridght jets, thats just asking for it to blow up.

Where can I get pilot jets?

A link on ebay would be the best.

go to your local motorcycle shop.they carry the jets you need.take the jets with you because if you tell them you needs jets for a oko carb.they are going to look at you funny.it uses keihin pwk jets. get a 50,52,55 just in case and your mains just go on ebay and type in oko in ebay motors.

Greetings:

The 2" UNI fits my 28/30mm OKO. Is your "30" also an oval venturi? 28 wide but 30mm tall? Get the model # from the UNI website, but order locally - no shipping!

Tomorrow I am going to the 1/8 mile dragstrip with this scooter.

My old time was 16.681 @ 38mph

I am almost hitting 50mph in the 1/8 mile now. I can't wait :nervous:
